What is SUPA Internet?
SUPA Networks is a fiber-optic network that runs cable directly to your premises. It's separate from the NBN, and where it's available it'll usually deliver faster, lower-latency speeds — especially on uploads.
Is SUPA fiber available at my address?
Coverage varies. Call 1300 663 222 or drop us a line with your address and we'll confirm in minutes whether SUPA reaches your premises.
What does "symmetric" mean?
Upload speed equal to download speed. On a standard NBN plan you might get 100 Mbps down but only 20 Mbps up. On SUPA Fiber 500 and above, both directions run at the same speed — which makes a huge difference for video calls, cloud backup, big-file uploads, working from home and live streaming.
Does the promo price last forever?
The promo rate applies for the first 3 months on every plan. After that, the standard monthly price kicks in (it's shown clearly on each plan card). You can cancel or downgrade any time before or after — there's no lock-in.
Do I need a special router?
For Fiber 50, any modern Wi-Fi router will do. For Fiber 500 and up, you need a gigabit-capable router so the cable doesn't bottleneck your plan. We can supply one pre-configured or you can bring your own — ask at signup.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. Number porting is free and we handle it for you. Calls are charged separately, or add the unlimited home-phone call pack for $15/month.
How long does installation take?
If SUPA is already wired to your address, you can usually be live within a few business days. For new installs, a technician will come out to run the fiber to your premises — we'll give you the exact timeline when we confirm your address.
Can I change my plan later?
Yep. Upgrade, downgrade or change your add-ons once each month, for free. Handy if your needs change seasonally or you decide you need more upload.
Is there really no contract?
Correct. Every SUPA plan is month-to-month, billed by direct debit. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. No exit fees, no penalties.
How does the refer-a-friend free month work?
Refer anyone to a SUPA Internet plan — once they're signed up and connected for 30 days, we'll credit one free month of your current plan to your next bill. Refer as many friends as you like; each one earns you another free month. Just ask us for your referral link, or get your friend to mention your name when they sign up.
